I am a seasoned IT professional with over
27 years of experience in the information and communications technology industry, with a strong focus on email systems, antispam, Internet technologies, security, and large-scale digital infrastructure. I currently serve as Director at several Data Group technology companies, including
Data Xgen Technologies, which developed India’s first fully EAI-ready email software and today serves over 50 million email users globally, and
Data Ingenious Global Limited, a leading .IN registrar and technology services company known for delivering multiple award-winning IT projects across India and for enabling the first private Internet services in Rajasthan in 1999.
Over the years, I have been deeply involved in addressing the digital divide and have actively advocated for
Universal Acceptance (UA),
Email Address Internationalization (EAI), and
Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs). I have delivered numerous presentations, workshops, and policy discussions on these topics at national and international platforms, including ICANN, the Internet Governance Forum (IGF), APTLD, NASSCOM, FICCI, iSPIRT, and TIE.
I strongly believe in emerging technologies and place particular emphasis on the use of local languages and scripts to enable a truly inclusive and multilingual Internet. I am an active community member within ICANN, contributing across At-Large, ISPCP, and GNSO. I have served as Vice Chair of the Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG) and Vice Chair of the EAI Working Group, Chair of the SPIRT Charter Drafting Team under GNSO, NomCom Delegate (2025), and a member of the EPDP on IDNs. I have also contributed to the Neo-Brahmi Generation Panel for IDN Label Generation Rules and served on the IGF 2023 Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG).
Currently, I serve as the
GNSO-nominated representative to the UA Expert Working Group,
ISPCP representative for the NCPH Board Seat 14 Search Committee,
member of SPIRT and the
Review of Reviews Cross-Community Group (CCG).
In addition, I have been a member of the
NASSCOM Product Council and played a key role in developing the national
Model RFP template for software products under India’s
National Policy on Software Products (NPSP). I also serve as a
Universal Acceptance Senior Advisor to various communities, networks, and alliances, helping promote UA as a foundational requirement rather than an optional feature.
I am based in
Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, and continue to work toward advancing
digital inclusion, AI-first software development, and scalable multilingual technology solutions.
